I am not exactly sure why, but at some point an image popped into my head and I could not get it out.
It was of a single tree in this massive mostly flat plains with the Grand Tetons in the distance. So for about two days as we drove around I would look for trees that might fit this image I had so vivid in my head. This is the closest shot I ever got on this trip.
It does not do the best job showing visually how massive this small corner of Wyoming really is. How tall the Grand Tetons are compared to how they look at this distance. Nor, how undeveloped our world really is if all you know is city life.
