Today I got away to one of the area lakes. It’s a state park area that is mostly shut down, but it allows for good scenery.

It was a good run. Running on limestone is odd. You have soft points you hit. Every step is hitting something at a different elevation, hitting soft points in between the rocks, or the ground you hit is often curved in some way.
Running in woods is different too, with leaves & sticks.
I intend to do more off-road runs, granted almost all my runs are off pavement – mostly in grass – I should get more limestone, mud, and sticks under my feet.
