If I say baby, car, tree … you have an image in your mind.
When you say words pictues can be created.
2. Paint Pictures with Your Words
Metefores = commitment with more punch (use “are” ad opposed to “like”)
3. Know the Rules, Then Break Them
3a. A Lot of then Rules You Learned Are Wrong Anyway.
Some came from the structue of the Latin tradition … “What did you step in?”
4. Words Have Power Use Them Wisely
If you have to use a sware word, make sure you mean it.
5. Write the Hell Out of EVERYTHING
Make sure everything you write can be the best it can be, including tweets, titles, emails & posts.
“Focus” when writing (that word came up again)
6. “Write Drunk, Edit Sober” – Hemmingway
Be silly enough that you can let your guard down & write. Don’t edit yourself as you are writing a first draft. Then edit & don’t take out all the good goofy stuff.
Your writing will pop more.
You will start to write better.
7. Write Intentionally
Writing as you speak is better & people tend to like it.

Most important advice to those who don’t consider themselves a writer & is starting & getting traction?
Make sure you love what you are writing about.
Keep doing it, at least 1 time a week, 3 times is better.
Rock it every time (quality over quantity)
